God’s service

Sunday worship is the heart of church life. Here the Christian draws faith and strength to his journey.

Worship is often called the liturgy. This is the result of the Greek word leitourgia, which means serving together, an activity that the group became a “one body”, which they would not be the sum of individuals. It also meant acting for a person or group at his own expense for the general good of society. So the preparation of the world for the coming of the Messiah was the liturgy of Israel; and in them were God of God, the chosen people for his purposes.
All people are called to serve God. This is done first and foremost through love and charity in serving and loving your fellow man. But the ecclesiastical worship also serves God with inner, upward-looking love and gratitude for what God has done for the people.
The worship service of the Eucharist is also called the eucharist, or the sacrifice, or the miss. This word is used by Catholics, Lutherans, and Anglicans, and is once derived from the Latin terminology of the widespread worship service: “Ite, missa est!” (Literally: go, sent!). This name is very symbolic. God is gathering his people, releasing the bastard, and sending the light beam of the soul, nourishing his word and sacrament, and then sending him back to the center of the world to fulfill his ministry to serve neighbors in love and to be Christ’s ambassadors for them.

Church Remembrance

Men always take a hat from the head in the church. Women also get into the Lutheran church in trousers and without a headgear. Even dignified clothes are coming to the church, beachwear is not born.

When entering the church, they are stopped or kneeled for prayer. You can also be blessed with making a cross mark. The cell phone is turned off in the church.

If it is necessary to speak with a clergyman, to present a wish to worship, or to commemorate, it can be done before the beginning of worship – preferably as early as possible – in the scissor. Often the church is also attended by helpers who greet the arrivals and share the songbooks – they can also turn to their questions with confidence.

Worship comes to time and is up to the end. The late is trying to find a place without interfering with others.

It does not walk in church during worship. You can get to know the church at other times.

The exception is children who may be tired of sitting in one place and want to move around in the church. A child in a small church and reviving the church is less distracted than worshiping the parents because of the displacement of the child. The child learns to behave in the church only when the parents and grandparents take him to worship and direct the child, so it is very important for the children to take the worship service. Some churches also have separate corners for children, or even rooms where they can observe worship by drawing or playing.

Worship has its own order and rhythm so that the church can live, think, pray and sing along. It is easy to follow the course of worship and learn through the songbook, where everything is basic. In many congregations, worship arrangements are also presented in separate booklets.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that no one believing in him should perish but have eternal life. God has not sent his Son into the world to judge the world, but to save the world through him..
